A Tornado Bowl ride is a popular water slide attraction found in water parks worldwide, designed to simulate the sensation of being caught in a swirling vortex. The experience typically begins with riders sliding through a high-speed enclosed tunnel that gains momentum before launching them into a massive, open-air bowl. Once inside, centrifugal force holds the riders against the outer walls as they spin around the perimeter several times. As the rider slows down, they spiral toward the center and drop through a central "drain" or exit hole, often falling into a splash pool or continuing into another section of the slide.
